Anatomical lung resection was the predominant treatment (87%) for primary lung cancer. Postoperative pulmonary complications developed in 16 patients. Multivariate analysis revealed that preoperative FeNO was a significant predictor of postoperative pulmonary complications (P=0.002, OR: 1.004, 95% CI: 1.016–1.074). FeNO levels increased significantly after surgery (P=0.011). Postoperative FeNO was a significant predictor of the need for additional medical treatment within 30 days of surgery (P=0.001, OR: 1.068, 95% CI: 1.028–1.110).","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"Conclusions: \nPerioperative FeNO was a significant predictor of surgical outcome among patients who underwent lung resection.
