A total of 55 patients underwent elective surgery for the primary colorectal cancer from November 2010 to March 2016. One of the two qualified surgeons began to coach in the operation from June 2014. In order to make background factors uniform, 43 patients of Stage I / II were targeted. 36 patients who underwent surgery without qualified surgeon and seven patients who underwent surgery with qualified surgeon. The degree of lymphadenectomy was higher (p=0.046) and amount of bleeding was lower (p=0.002) in the group with qualified surgeon. Furthermore, four patients (11.1%) were converted to open surgery in the group without qualified surgeon, but no patient was converted to open surgery in the group with qualified surgeon.
