In 2009,started with the institution of an individualized dental support system in Shiga University of Medical Science Hospital.The system involved intraoral management of patients before and after treatment and nurse support for specialized daily oral care in difficult patients.The number of patients requesting oral care has increased year by year,and was more than double in 2013 from100 patients in 2009. We aim for conscious improvement of oral care for everyone, not just by the nurse but also by the team. We have organized study sessions and provided instructions to patients with hematogenous disease 2012 regarding the importance and methods of oral care.
