BetweenJanuary 2009 and August 2014, 62 patients were treated for acute cholecystitis. Patients were got diagnosed and treated inclose cooperation with several departments, including emergency physician, internist specialty and surgeon. We demonstratedthat patients were treated with Percuatneous Transhepatic Drainage, a standard technique of gallbladder drainage, and/orcholecystectomy, fundamental surgical treatment, according to severity (mild, moderate and severe). We confirmed that thisnew guidelines for the management of acute cholecystitis were useful in clinical practice.
