Annual incidence isestimated to be less than 1 per 100,000 and approximately half are metastatic disease. We report a case of 47-year-old man whoreceived palliative care combined with intravenous injection of Strontium (89Sr) to relieve uncontrollable pain from bonemetastases of pancreatic endocrine tumor. Pain was diminished at three days after administration of Strontium (89Sr).
