Peptide targeting beta-cells have been selected byphage display method. For MR contrast, we conjugated the peptide probe with superparamagnetic iron oxide. After tail veininjection of the agent, MR images of normal and streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice were acquired by 7T MR scanner.
