We treated a 70-year-old woman with metastatic breast cancer who had developed Stevens-Johnsonsyndrome after intravenous administration of the first dose of paclitaxel. Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a rare, severe,immune-mediated cutaneous reaction to medication. Drug lymphocyte stimulation test���� was performed and Paclitaxel waslikely to be a cause of this complication . The patient was treated with steroid pulse therapy with intravenousimmunoglobulin.
